光合作用合成生物学会议（2018.8.7.-8.10）将采取国际上GORDON CONFERENCE 模式，有限报告数目，最大限度增加参会人员讨论时间。该会议将以利用光合合成生物学以提高光能利用效率为核心，汇聚当前国际C4水稻项目、国际C3光合效率改良项目（RIPE）、全新CO2固定代谢途径构建项目的主要负责人，一方面报告各个项目的主要进展，同时深入探讨当前开展合成生物学研究所需要的关键共性技术。最后，将专门安排一下午开展专题讨论，共同讨论未来开展光合合成生物学研究的主要机会、瓶颈、及需要的共性技术平台等，会后形成针对未来光合合成生物学发展的建议白皮书。欢迎国内正在开展或者对光合合成生物学研究的老师、同学参会！上海8月欢迎您！ Photosynthesis provides the basis for food, energy and fiber for humanity; it is also a critical component of the global ecosystem. Understanding how photosystem works and how to improve its efficiency are a major focus of the contemporary photosynthesis biology research. The International Symposium on Synthetic Biology in Photosynthesis Research aims to bring together scientists working in the various fields closely related to synthetic biology and photosynthesis research areas to discuss the recent progress and brainstorm future opportunities. The meeting dates are from Aug 7th through Aug 10th .
The symposium will be organized around three topic areas, i.e. understanding photosynthesis systems, engineering photosynthetic systems, and new technologies/tools for synthetic biology. Plenty of time will be allocated for the discussion sessions to ensure close interaction between the speakers and audience. At the end, we will organize a discussion session to brainstorm unexplored opportunities on photosynthesis synthetic biology, methods and tools needed to realize these opportunities, and maximize the impact of photosynthetic synthetic biology on agriculture.

本次会议将在美兰湖国际会议中心（Lake Malaren International Convention Center）举行，距离地铁7号线“美兰湖”站600米，步行约需10分钟。

The symposium will be held in Lake Malaren International Convention Center, which locate only 600 meters away from “Meilan Lake Station” of Metro Line 7, about 10 minutes walk.

美兰湖国际会议中心位于地铁7号线“美兰湖”站附近，可以非常方便的从上海虹桥机场、浦东机场、虹桥高铁站、上海火车站、上海南站等交通枢纽乘坐地铁抵达。

美兰湖国际会议中心附近有多个不同价位标准的酒店，除了美兰湖国际会议中心本身提供酒店客房外，附近还有维也纳酒店（上海美兰湖地铁站店）、上海美兰湖高尔夫度假酒店、汉庭酒店（美兰湖沪太路店）等。多数酒店都可通过同程、携程等酒店预订平台提前预订。
因各地参会代表的报销标准差别很大，且会场周边各种价格的酒店齐全，公众交通非常方便，因此本次会议不提供酒店预订服务。因8月是上海旅游旺季，请大家尽早自行预定。
