2020年4月28日，Gary Stacey实验室又在Plant Physiology发表了一篇题为Arabidopsis Lectin Receptor Kinase P2K2 is a second plant receptor for extracellular ATP and contributes to innate immunity的研究论文，在拟南芥中鉴定了第二种eATP受体蛋白并对该受体蛋白的功能进行了解析。
