Postdoctoral positions are available immediately to conduct research in the following areas: gene regulation (chromatin modifications, transcription, transcript processing & degradation, and translation), molecular mechanisms of plant stress tolerance, and physiology of plant drought responses. Using genetic and genomic approaches, we have recently identified genes conferring stress tolerance in Arabidopsis. The postdoctoral fellows will conduct innovative research to reveal the modes of action for these genes. Prior experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, genomics, or plant physiology is required. King Abdullah University of Science and Technology
